The Panamerican Congress was founded in Bogotá, Colombia, where President Gustavo Petro convened eight delegations from across North, Central, and South America to forge a common vision for the future of the hemisphere.

The following August, President Claudia Sheinbaum welcomed the Congress to Mexico City, where delegations from 12 countries deliberated the themes of equality, prosperity, solidarity and sovereignty inside the Senate of the Republic.
